For one week, the CSTJF team will be welcoming 9th-grade interns from some of the junior highs in the city’s priority neighborhoods

From January 20 to 24, 15 pupils of the Jeanne d’Albret junior high will be in immersion at the CSTJF as part of the new scheme founded with the association Créé ton avenir (create your future).

For some young students from priority educational networks, finding an internship – which is mandatory during their 9th grade – is no easy task. For this purpose, the State has developed a platform of offers designed specifically for them: www.monstagedetroisieme.fr

The Total group has also committed to contributing to the professional integration of young people and the fight against school dropout. Many actions centered on the “education and social integration of young people” are carried out with the Total Foundation worldwide, in France and on a local scale.

The scheme proposed by the CSTJF is based on a “turnkey” program that is also open to the children of Total personnel. The innovation is that in addition to introducing young people to the business lines and company, the program is particularly focused on their personal development.

Employees can volunteer to present their business line, their department and the interactions with the other entities. They are also called on to offer advice and make this a week to remember by organizing fun and instructive workshops.

The week’s internship ends with a graduation ceremony held during a cocktail party attended by Thierry Renard, Manager of the CSTJF site, the professors and parents!
