Essentiel 2021: follow our journey

On May 28, 2021, Total officially became TotalEnergies, the broad energy company, which marked a watershed in the history of our company.

This transformation was undertaken to provide an increasingly relevant response to our mission which is to produce energy that is ever more affordable, clean, reliable, and accessible to as many people as possible. More energy, fewer emissions: this is the twofold challenge the world, and particularly the energy sector, has to face. To find out how we, at TotalEnergies, intend to contribute to meeting this challenge, take a look at our publication: Essentiel 2021.

In this issue, we invite you to follow our journey: that of a company evolving in the production, transportation, trade, and energy distribution sectors, right up to the end client, with the firm conviction that this integrated, broad energy strategy represents a competitive advantage that will create value in the long term.

Develop our renewable power production capacities; Natural gas as one of the best options available to reduce the transportation footprint offshore and onshore; When it comes to hydrogen, work to produce increasingly innovative technologies applicable to sustainable mobility; Meet and decarbonize global demand for oil & gas products; Avoid and reduce emissions on our industrial sites; Put forward a renewable fuel offer, a major focus for rising to the carbon footprint challenge, associated with sustainable carbon capture and storage solutions, etc. With people as the main focus of our collective project and our values.
