Working together for a local solidarity impact

At TotalEnergies in Pau, we firmly believe in the power of solidarity and commitment toward the communities and territories that welcome us, in particular through volunteer initiatives. In Pau, to increase our support to local associations, we set up an Action! forum to bring together around a dozen associations and the staff at the CSTJF.

Thanks to the mobilization of our staff, through our global solidarity program, Action!, we have built strong ties with various structures in Béarn, thereby contributing to the completion of positive-impact projects in the region.

Inspiring accounts from associations and staff

The Action! associations forum Pau 2024 was a unique opportunity to train the spotlight on the actions and projects run by the local guest associations. A session was organized in the morning - in the presence of the team in charge of TotalEnergies Foundation, Citizenship Engagement Division - to encourage synergies among the different structures. It gave staff the opportunity to find out about the different projects proposed, discuss them with representatives from the associations, and even sign up for volunteer missions. “The event helped strengthen the ties between our staff and the associations, creating a network of solidarity and enthusiasm. We received extremely positive feedback from the satisfaction survey sent to the associations that participated,” enthuses Isabelle Porterie, Action! Program contact at the TotalEnergies site in Pau.

Watch the video where staff share their experience: our staff who participated in volunteer missions share their experience, what motivated them to join the program, and what they got out of their commitment. The association AJIR and the Mission locale pour les Jeunes Pau-Pyrénées, through their spokespeople Elsa Goury Dedieu and Grégory Gorchs-Chacou, express how their organizations benefit from the commitment of TotalEnergies staff.
