OneTech was created in September 2021 as part of TotalEnergies’ transformation. The new branch federates all the Company’s technical and scientific competencies for all the different energies. On nine sites in Europe, 3,400 engineers, technicians and researchers work together to implement TotalEnergies’ ambition and objectives in terms of the energy transition and sustainable development. The Pau site is the most significant site for the branch.
In 2022, OneTech decided to kick off its Graduate Program, designed for young engineers having obtained a Master 2 scientific degree in an engineering school or university. It gives them the opportunity to enhance their technical and scientific knowledge and acquire initial experience by discovering TotalEnergies’ new energies such as biofuels, green gases, renewables and power. The training path, which helps fast-track careers, involves working in three different jobs, each one held for about eight months, and at least one of them in a Research & Development center. The objective? To provide a training path for young hires that gives them a global vision of our Company’s expertise and helps them enhance their knowledge of several energies.
Camille Gaurrat is one of the 60 young people of the first cohort, to be hired on a long-term contract. Having completed part of her studies in Pau (at the UPPA) and gained experience in several areas at TotalEnergies (on an internship, followed by a work/study contract), she has just begun her first eight-month assignment. She chose to return to the Béarn region to work at the CSTJF with the R&D teams to analyze the lifecycle of territorial biogas, in liaison with the BioBéarn anaerobic digester unit in Mourenx.
