The teams at TotalEnergies are mobilized for the inclusion of people with disabilities
- TotalEnergies signed the International Labor Organization’s (ILO) Global Business and Disability Network Charter and is a member of its worldwide network for improving policies and practices to foster the integration of people with disabilities.
- Through its presence at the ‘Hello Handicap’ fair, from October 26 - 29, 2021, the Company is opening its doors to the range of talents that represent the diversity and wealth of our society.
- Every day, our teams work to combat discrimination and promote equal treatment and opportunities for disabled workers throughout their professional careers.
The ILO’s Global Business and Disability Network charter is a tool intended for companies who wish to promote the integration of people with disabilities into the world of work. Signing it consolidates and emphasizes our company’s commitment and that of our teams in the field. As such, a network of TotalEnergies disability coordinators and experts contribute every day to improving working conditions in the company for employees with disabilities. The most suitable solutions are put forward by listening attentively to and assimilating their specific needs.
Boosting the employment, integration and professional development of the disabled in all our entities is an act of social responsibility.
As part of the diversity policy, our recruitment teams will once again be attending the ‘Hello Handicap’ fair, which takes place from October 26-29, 2021. This online recruitment event, created to make it easier for companies and disabled workers to make contact, is the largest of its kind in France in this sector. It contains thousands of offers for jobs, work/study placements and internships in all kinds of different professions and in all the regions of France, whatever the candidate’s qualifications. Our teams are available for telephone interviews or discussions via Chat applications throughout the event.

Disability affects 1 in 7 people According to the World Health Organization, there are currently over one billion people with disabilities in the world. And for 80% of them, this is an invisible handicap.
Our colleagues, clients and all our stakeholders may be impacted by disability at any time in their lives. That’s why it is important for us to take proactive measures while respecting others and with the strength of mutual support uppermost in our minds.
