This page aims to present our accessibility policy and define the general accessibility level observed on the website, in accordance with the applicable protocols and regulations.
What is digital accessibility?
Digital accessibility is a set of standards and best practices covering functional, graphic, technical and editorial aspects.
Digital media (websites, mobile applications, PDF files, etc.) must adhere to particular standards and best practices in order to be accessible by people with disabilities.
For example, an accessible website allows users to:
- Customize its display via the operating system and/or browser (enlarge or shrink characters, change typography, modify colors, turn off animations, etc.).
- Browse using assistive technologies such as text-to-speech or Braille.
- Navigate without having to use a mouse, just a keyboard, switches or a touchscreen.
- Watch videos and audio content with subtitles and/or transcriptions.
- And more.
Accessibility Policy
TotalEnergies is committed to make its websites (Internet, intranet, and extranet), its software packages, mobile applications and urban digital infrastructure accessible in accordance with article 47 of French law no. 2005-102 of 11 February 2005.
To this end, it undertakes the following strategy and actions:
The “cstjf-pau.totalenergies.fr” website was designed using the TotalEnergies web factory, which allows multiple websites to be created from a common structure and components.
To achieve the best possible result, accessibility was considered by the teams in charge of functional and graphic design as well as development throughout the creation of this web factory.
In addition, trainings on content accessibility were provided to contributors of sites created using the factory. This is completed by input assistance available from the back office and in the contribution guide published by the Webroom teams.
RGAA partial compliance statement
This declaration applies to “cstjf-pau.totalenergies.fr” website.
Compliance Status
The website is partially compliant with RGAA version 4.1.2 (and therefore WCAG 2.1) as a result of the non-conformities listed below.

Calculated by dividing the number of compliant criteria by the number of applicable criteria. - The average compliance rate is 90,1 %.
Calculated by averaging the compliance rates for each page.
Non-accessible contents

Non-conformities
- 1.1 - A few images conveying information do not have an alternative text description.

- 4.5 - Some videos do not provide audio-description.
- 4.13 - Some videos or time-based media are not compatible with assistive technologies.
- 6.1 - A few links are not explicit.
- 7.1 - A few scripts are not compatible with assistive technologies.
- 7.4 - A few script-generated context changes are not reported or controllable.

Additional notes
Validity of the generated source code
The generated source code of the site pages is not fully valid according to the specified document type.
However, for the reasons mentioned below, the RGAA criterion 8.2 corresponding to this point has been marked as compliant.
Officially, WCAG criterion 4.1.1 relating to this RGAA criterion 8.2 has been removed from WCAG 2.2 and must be considered as still satisfied with regard to WCAG 2.1 as well as the European standard EN 301 549.
In practice, this criterion no longer has any benefit for accessibility for people with disabilities. Any accessibility problems arising from the invalidity of the generated source code are covered by other RGAA criteria.
Cookies consent manager
“Tealium” cookies consent manager was not fully audited during the process.
However, it has been checked its presence does not have an impact on either use or consultation of the website.
Video player
The “YouTube” video player has not been fully and thoroughly audited.
However, it has been verified that it can be used with various assistive technologies.
Wedia video player
The videos on the site are currently streamed via the Wedia video player. This player has numerous non-compliances that negatively impact the site's compliance rate and accessibility level, despite the efforts made by the “cstjf-pau.totalenergies.fr” site teams to make the site accessible.
This issue has been identified and is being monitored by the WebRoom teams. Work is underway to improve the compliance and accessibility of Wedia players in the long term.
The PDF files on this website were created by another TotalEnergies entity. Some of them are not accessible. Since the CSTJF Pau team has no control over these PDF files, the team is unable to make them accessible. The team responsible for creating these PDF files have been notified of this issue.
